Authenticity

Each piece is issued as an ERC‑721 token. Anyone can verify provenance—no account needed. We use short codes and QR labels to link physical works to their on‑chain record, keeping the experience simple and human.

Edition Policy

Most pieces are issued as an open edition (serially numbered)—each token is unique, but the series doesn’t have a fixed cap. When a piece is offered as a limited edition or one-of-one, we state that explicitly on the product page and in the token metadata.

  • Open edition (serially numbered): no hard cap; each token has a unique serial.
  • Limited edition (fixed cap): total supply capped and stated up front.
  • One-of-one: a single unique token/piece.

Proof of work matters—craft, fabrication time, and finish variants all contribute to value independent of a hard cap.

What we store & how we host

  • Token facts: chain, contract, tokenId, serial number, and work metadata (title, material, dimensions, images).
  • Primary hosting: media and JSON served from our domain.
  • Failover: pinned copies on IPFS. If we ever stop renewing hosting, IPFS preserves access to the canonical files.
  • Annual review: we periodically verify pins and update mirrors (“dead-man’s switch”).
