Maceta Venera
The Maceta Venera starts like a ring-stacker, its soft masses piling upward before opening into a scalloped poolside umbrella or aspirational awning on a Gwathmey Siegel house. Blunt and buoyant, it turns shade, shell, and stacked geometry into a talismanic planter—part vessel, part miniature resort architecture, part figure that kept returning until it found a use.

The Maceta Venera is a medium planter with a rounded stacked body and scalloped upper rim. Developed from a recurring tubular figure in the studio’s Solar and Eclipse investigations, the piece distills visual patterns into a functional planter, balancing soft mass, Romanesque geometry, and brise-soleil references.
