Conceived of through a kind of Lewitt-like method drawing, the corpus of this console aims for a naive exoticism as if Rousseau made a studio out of Prouvé’s Maison Tropicale. Play with curved lines evokes the bent wood of the secessionists or perhaps Ico and Louisa Parisi. With the addition of our "Solar" lamps, the ensemble conjures an idiotic exoticism like a set piece from 1980s Banana Republic catalog washed with detergent sold during an advertising break from “Bonanza” with its Western sets redesigned by Thonet.
